The online resources listed below provide access to K-12 text and media resources for teachers and students. With them, SDUSD teachers and students are able to choose grade level appropriate text and media that will support student learning.

Elementary School Resources:

World Book Online
Accurate, easy to read articles, graphic and multimedia enhancements, Back in Time, and links to external Web sites selected by World Book. 

ProQuest CultureGrams & eLibrary
CultureGrams helps you and your students discover the world with concise cultural and statistical snapshots of every country recognized by the United Nations. Local experts document the unique, intimate details of each country's customs, traditions and daily life.

eLibrary Is a user-friendly general references tool that includes fullfull-text and multimedia reference essentials. More than 2,000 full-text magazines, newspapers, books and transcripts, plus thousands of maps, pictures, educator-approved websites from Homework Central and audio/video files.

United Streaming
UnitedStreaming provides teachers with tools to incorporate digital media into student learning environments.  Teachers have access to more than 40,000 video segments from among 4,000 full-length videos from Discovery School and other award-winning producers.

For login information, see Library staff. This database provide students with curricular support and self-help tools on topics including diseases, drugs, alcohol, nutrition, fitness, mental health, diversity, and family life and more.
