Since their creation in the fall of 2004-2005, Educational Technology has supported the fourteen small schools at the Crawford, Kearny and San Diego High School complexes. The integration of technology into these fourteen new schools varies from piloting digital lockers to upgrading of computers. Upgrading technological skills for teachers is ongoing and continuous. Teachers at the small schools have attended full day trainings, after school and prep period sessions. Professional development so far has included:

-Website development
-Multimedia
-Probeware
-Prompt driven essays scored by web based rubrics
-Hardware and software
-Teleconferencing
