To provide a technology infused curriculum in conjunction with state content and performance standards, one must have the appropriate tools.  To this end, we have correlated the Core Competencies with a K-12 Knowledge and Skills developmental continuum and Technology Competencies Rubrics both developed by the San Diego City Schools Educational Technology Department. The K-12 Knowledge and Skills developmental continuum provides a view of what technology competencies can be expected at each grade level, while the Technology Competencies Rubrics are tools that can be used to assess what students will be able to accomplish by eighth grade as mandated by NCLB and the San Diego City Schools High School Technology Equivalency requirement for graduation.
