The San Diego Unified School District's Educational Technology Department provides leadership and support services to educators who are improving student achievement through the infusion of technology into the district's standards-based curriculum. Instruction is varied and dynamic, reflecting the diversity of student needs in the schools. The focus is on learning with information and technology, rather than learning about technology.

Technology is used to enhance and support teaching while helping students develop digital literacy through using technology tools to meet state content standards and learn 21st century skills.
