Page 1 of 7 The SDUSD Educational Technology department focuses its efforts systemically, and specifically on student academic achievement resulting from integration of technology in the curriculum.
SDUSD Ed Tech provides teachers with access to a comprehensive program of professional development to use technology as an integral tool to enhance and support teaching, and engage students in using technology tools to meet academic standards and learn 21st century skills.
ED TECH provides professional development opportunities in three key areas: - Foundational Support to Teacher
Building knowledge and understanding towards technology proficiency through hardware and software training. - Teacher to Students- Technology Enhanced Instruction
Using technology to enhance pedagogy, increasing the ability to teach using technology. Building proficiency to enable teacher to choose appropriate technology tools for instructional delivery. - Students and Their Achievement- Technology Integrated Curriculum
Students use technology tools & resources within the context of their work to meet state standards and learn 21st Century communication and information skills.
