1. There are people who think that bats are dirty and evil. Bats are very clean and groom their wings and teeth daily.

3. There are people who think that bats bite humans and fly into people's hair. Bats prefer to stay away from humans. Bats don't bite and they don't fly into your hair. If bats can find tiny insects in total darkness,they are much too smart to fly into people. If you see a bat, that means it is probably sick and you must not touch it.
4. Some people believe that bats carry rabies. Like all wild animals, bats can get rabies but few do. Remember, bats are wild animals. You have nothing to fear if you never touch a bat.
