Process
This project is designed to be completed by individual or teams of students. They conduct an in-depth study of one explorer by taking notes from multiple sources. Students then organize their notes and write a body of information. The body is then added to other components to form a chapter in the class book, Exploring Explorers. The focus is to gather and share information to justify this explorer's importance in history, which is reported in the summary section of the chapter body. Student work is evaluated using the rubric.
