Scaffolding Exercise #6

Creating a Lesson Information Diagram is simple, once you've had some practice. This exercise will provide you with an opportunity to try the process out and compare your results with others. You may wish to work in pairs, with one person looking at the WebQuest and the other working on the diagram.

1. One person in each pair should download the Lesson Information Diagram template.
2. The other should go to one of these sites:
   
   
   • Plight of the Mini-Beast, Grades 2-4
   • Colonial American Art Grade 5
   • Units of Measure, Grade 7
     
     
3. Work together analyzing the WebQuest and fleshing out the examples and scaffolds. In addition to any scaffolding you find in the WebQuest, feel free to add other scaffolds you think might have improved the lesson.

We'll compare notes when you're done.
