New Tools Sessions

This year as part of the Patterns Training we are offering an opportunity for Patterns participants to learn NEW TOOLS to aid in the production/scaffolding of WebQuests. These NEW TOOLS will NOT be part of the "Official Summer Training" that you have already signed up for. These are in addition to those days and will NOT be paid days; it is simply an opportunity for you to learn some new, exciting, helpful applications/tools. |

New Tools will be presented from 8:00am - 12:00pm. A lab will be open from 1:00pm - 4:00pm for you to work on your projects or practice your new tools (if you want) and someone will be there to help. |

- A way to organize your bookmarks and access them from any
computer Rubric Maker - A tool by David Warlick of the Landmark Project that creates rubrics in web form. SnapzPro - Create quicktime movies of any procedure you perform on the computer. Narrate it as a guide to your students for their independent use (job aid). FreeTranslation - Translate your pages to Spanish (job aid) (caveats). PhotoShop LE - Crop, resize, apply filters, change resolution in a professional graphics applications ... this program does what Graphic Converter does and a whole lot more (job aid) |
