Changing the background:
Adding colors and textures
Have you seen all the different colors and fancy backgrounds all over the web. It seems that everyone has a background - look at the alternative, battleship gray. No wonder everyone changes. Well, a very easy way to make your page not so drab is to add a background color or texture. If plan to add a texture, you must have one first. There are lots of web pages dedicated to backgrounds, the Beautifying section of the symposium is good place to start.
Lets now look at adding colors and textures.

1. Find the Document Options button and click on it. |

2. The document options menu will appear. We will be focusing on the right hand side of menu. |

Adding Color 3. Click and hold on the box right next to color (your current color will pictured). A menu of colors will appear. You may select a color from those provided or go down to Other and create a custom color. |

Adding a Texture/Image 4. Adding a texture is almost as easy. Click on the Set button in the Background section of the Document Options menu. |

5. Select the image you have chosen for your background and hit Open. |
|
|
|
|
|
6. Once you have selected your color and/or image for your background, they will be indicated in the boxes shown. |
