Saving Your Bookmarks

There is an easy way to bring your bookmarks from one computer to another. This can be done individually or as a group. If you haven't already looked at the Managing Your Bookmarks tutorial, do so now.

1. Click and hold on the Netscape button () on the menu bar. Move your mouse down to Bookmarks

2. A window with all of the bookmarks will appear.

3. To grab an individual bookmark, simply click and hold on the bookmark wanted and drag it to the desktop.

A file will be copied to the desktop. You may now copy it to your disk.

To access the bookmark simply double click on it. If Netscape is not open, it will launch it automatically.

4. To copy an entire folder of links, do the same thing as with the individual link, only drag the folder to the desktop.

A folder with the individual bookmarks in it will be copied to the desktop.

5. To access the bookmarks in this folder, open it up and double click on the bookmark you want. This folder can be copied to your disk and the bookmarks can be used on any machine with Netscape and an Internet connection.
