I haven't investigated the resources on
the net,
but I would like to implement a unit that
focuses on the
life of CÈsar Ch·vez and Martin
Luther King Jr. Along with
other significant minority
role models in this century. The
concern is whether
there are enough child-appropriate
resouces. This
unit would also be more of a "creation",
meaning
there is much current curriculum to assist in
planning. I want to create this only if it can be
sensitive, meaningful, and create a significant
impact.
