In his 8th grade science class at Correia Middle School, Mr. Gardinier uses his web site to provide documents, data, and templates and also to publish student work. In addition, he also uses Topic Forums which he created using PHPBB for teacher moderated online threaded discussions. 8th Grade Science Fair Project:
Students used Microsoft Word for writing and making tables, Microsoft Excel for creating data tables, analyzing data, and making graphs, Microsoft PowerPoint for creating a mock up of the science fair presentation board, digital cameras, and scientific tools such as probeware.
