In this episode, Jeremiah Potter, a teacher at Pershing Middle School, will discuss how the students used technology in a variety of ways for their science fair projects. Topics will include how the use of technology:
1. increases student learning and their ability to present data and results
2. helps second language learners
3. helps students to communicate ideas to an audience
4. provides for differentiated learning opportunities
5. how scientific tools increase the quality and quantity of data that can be collected leaving more time for interpretation
6. how Moodle allowed students to work more like scientists through online collaboration with peers while also providing the vehicle for more frequent and higher quality feedback from teachers.
